These terms cover use of TrakWP at trakwp.me. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
TrakWP is an independent research tool for people who publish plugins and themes on WordPress.org. It shows daily directory rankings, official download history, keyword positions, rivals, and a Rank Simulator based on WordPress.org's published search scoring.
Public pages work without an account. Tracking a product, saving keywords and using a paid plan require one.
TrakWP is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WordPress.org, Automattic or the WordPress Foundation. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation.
You can register with email, sign in with Google, and protect the account with two-factor authentication or a passkey. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Each plan is for one person. There are no seats and no shared team plans.
Free includes one tracked product, three keywords, one rival, the Rank Simulator explanation and 30 days of history. Hobby, Pro and Power, and what each one adds, are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars. Yearly billing is twelve months minus the discount shown at checkout.
Paid checkout is handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record. A new account can have one 7-day trial. An account that has already used a trial does not get another.
You can cancel at any time. Paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for. If you downgrade, or a failed payment locks the plan, products over the new limit are paused. They are not deleted. Keywords over the limit stay saved and are not checked every day.
We do not store your card number. Tax, invoices and refunds on a charge are handled by Dodo under their terms.
The six ranking multipliers follow WordPress.org's published formula. A predicted position also depends on text relevance, which can only be estimated, so predicted ranks are estimates. A fit score on a keyword says how close that estimate is to the live results.
Downloads are not new users. WordPress.org counts updates as downloads. Active installs are the rounded bands WordPress.org publishes.
Rank and install history start the day a listing is first snapshotted. Official daily downloads can go back about a year, because WordPress.org publishes those.
Do not:
We may suspend an account that does this.
TrakWP is provided as is and as available. Directory data can be late or incomplete when WordPress.org's APIs are. The Rank Simulator does not promise a live search position.
To the extent the law allows, TrakWP is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, arising from use of the service. These terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
You can delete your account in settings. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, or stop the service. Cancelling a paid plan is described above. The payment, liability and WordPress independence sections still apply after the account ends.
If these terms change, the new version is published at this address with a new date. Using TrakWP after that date means you accept the new terms.
